I was nervous at first but Ms. Norman put me at ease by answering all my questions and explaining the procedure to me. After i was finished I felt refreshed and had more energy than usual. TV agent Rick Gevers, who was a classmate of newly appointed KPRC 2 assistant news director Rick McFarland, found out what’s going on with current KPRC assistant news director Kathy Williams:
Rick will replace KATHY WILLIAMS as the Assistant ND. She is leaving the station for a new opportunity to be announced soon.
Last week, I blogged about how McFarland, who was appointed news director a few years ago, was returning to the assistant ND position. According to his online bio, McFarland started at the station in June 1980 in the sports department and has moved up through the years.
This caused me to wonder what was happening to Williams. She landed at KPRC 2 after leaving KRIV 26 as news director in 2009.
