Review of HomeWatch Security Cameras, Houston

Posted by by BOMAR on Citysearch On September - 30 - 2010 ADD COMMENTS

Due to the fact that there were two businesses on our block broken into in the last month, we wanted added protection at our restaurant located off of 290 and dry cleaners close to the Heights. We called three different security companies of some type of protection system. Homewatch was the only company that took care of us immediately, provided a good concept, design, and price that would fit my budget. They were very professional and they walked us through the camera system controls. Th…

Review of Cross America Relocation, Houston

The title explains the situation. Before I go into that, be warned that some of the positive reviews in late April & early May may have been written by employees.

I was informed that the delivery would be made by employees, however they subbed it out to an independent trucker without my consent. My delivery arrived a day later than they contractually committed, even with their 7 day window. Some items were missing. They were discovered on the truck the next day and delivered by the trucker…

Review of Sage 400 Japanese Cuisine, Houston

I was pleasantly surprised at the experience at Sage 400. I’ve been there 4 or 5 times and this was the best experience yet. The food was fresh and the service was very pleasant. I’d put this up against any other sushi restaurant.

My appetite for craft beer was whetted several weeks ago, after I attended a “Beer 101: Beer Basics” class at Anvil Bar & Refuge, so when the press release for the first annual Houston Beer Week hit my inbox I was thrilled. What could be better than a week-long celebration of craft beer, combined with [...]

Review of Vertigo Hair Concepts, Houston

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Melanie for a few months now. I’ve always gotten cuts from stylists at independent salons. The price has consistently been in the $40-$50 range. I have to admit that I’ve never had a better haircut. Not only does she do a great job, but she has the talent to adjust the cut based on factors particular to your own hair. What you end up with is a style that fits your head and grows out looking great. I wouldn’t get my hair cut by anyone else!

I live within walking distance, tonight I decided to check this place out and get a burger and fries takeout
Well, the swiss bleu burger was great ($10.95)

I ordered a side of fries, they cost $4.95…!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I asked the dude why they were so much his reply was because they had spinkled parmesan on them?

I mean c’mon they gotta be the most expensive fries I ever ate, and there was only a handful and they really werent that good

These guys need to fix that before they lose…
