My friends and I thought we would give this place a try because it is close to where we live, but the drive to Washington St. was more appealing than this establishment. If you are looking to mingle with others, this isn’t the place to go. I’ve been to sports bars in the area that get bigger crowds than Tobin’s Lounge. The only good thing about this place is it was easy to park close and to get a drink because the place is dead. There was no music for half the night. The staff is horrible fro…

Memorial Day Weekend

Proudly benefiting the HOUSTON FOOD BANK.

Honorary Chair: Ms. Cleverley Stone, The Diva of All Things Delicious. She will be hosting the shows and broadcasting The Cleverley Show live from the festival.

Live chef competitions, eating competitions and the largest variety of international food samples in Houston.

This festival celebrates the flavors that make Houston one of the most culinary diverse cities in the world.

Houston prepares itself for one of the top city events of the year: the Flavors Festival. Local restaurants, chefs and businesses will showcase their products and services to thousands of people that are waiting for this festival. This is the opportunity for the whole community of Houston to learn about Houston‘s culinary diversity, from the most renowned chefs and restaurants to the small, independent, etnic restaurants that make this city so rich in flavors.

The mission of the Flavors Festival is to unite people from different cultures through a celebration of international flavors while raising funds for the Houston Food Bank. 

People who attend this event will be able to enjoy the largest flavors celebration in Houston! This is a great festival because it offers chef competitions, eating competitions, live music and a unique food tasting experience with the largest variety of restaurants, chefs and food samples never seen before in Houston.

Join us for Loaves and Fishes soup kitchen duty.  Donate your lunch hour to serve those in need of a warm meal. This is a recurring event, every 4th Thursday of the month. They welcome donations (i.e pastic ware, cups/plates, loaves of bread)
