METRO will detour a number of bus routes over the weekend due to the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run and Houston Rodeo Parades.
ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run and Houston Rodeo Parade
On Saturday, February 27, 2010, two events will affect METRO service: the ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Parade from 9:30 a.m. 12:30 p.m.
Both events will start at the intersection of Texas and Smith and travel east on Texas. The Rodeo Parade will continue south on Travis, west on Bell, north on Louisiana, west on Walker and end at Bagby.
The ConocoPhillips Rodeo Run will end at Minute Maid Park Parking Lot āCā on Texas Avenue between St. Emanuel and Bastrop.
Customers traveling to downtown may expect minor delays during the event.
Buses will be rerouted in the downtown area.
